KR | Emergency Key Release for garage door openers. This is used where the garage door is the only entry point for the garage. In the event of a power failure there is no way to open the garage door, and you do not have access to pull the emergency rope release on the opener. This Emergency Key Release is mounted in the face of the top section of the garage door (you will have to drill a hole in the door).
