Hinges:

Note:  Most garage door hinges are numbered.  The hinges in the middle of the door (not holding a roller), are usually all #1 hinges, but it does not really make any difference what number they are.  The hinges at the edge of the door that hold rollers increment from #1 at the bottom to #3 or #4 for standard residential doors (higher for taller doors).  The reason for this, is that the gap from the door to the track increases towards the top of the door, so the higher number hinges have more roller offset.
