Liftmaster / Chamberlain Info:

Liftmaster and Chamberlain are manufactured by the same company and share almost all parts (gears, remotes, Photo Sensors, etc...).

Chamberlain / Liftmaster Model Numbers: Click Here to download a diagram that will show where the label is located with the opener model number.

Chamberlain / Liftmaster Logic Board Fault Codes: The Learn Indicator LED light on the main circuit board will flash a code that indicates the source of the problem. Below is a chart that explains what the codes mean.

Number of Flashes on Learn Indicator LED	Possible Problem
1	The Protector System wire is broken, or the photo cells are totally misaligned.
2	The Protector System wire is shorted, or the black / white wire is reversed.
3	Door / Wall Control button is shorted.
4	IR sensor slightly misaligned (LED on receiving sensor is dim or flashing)
5	Possible RPM sensor failure, or motor overheating unplug to reset.
6	Motor circuit failure - replace RX/LX board.
Rapid Flash	Chamberlain / Liftmaster remote code is being received (the garage door opener may not be programmed to respond)
